For this task, I was required to work in a partnership to create and design an original typeface in response to the theme of games – in this case, we selected to base our font on the game of Backgammon.
A fully functional font file was created along with a promotional poster for the typeface. The creation of this poster, exemplified here, was one of my favourite parts of the project – playing around with colours and arrangements was very enjoyable.

I created the presentation poster for our partnership using Indesign. I enjoyed the experimentation of colours and shapes. As I consistently do throughout my designs, I again drew stylistic inspiration from retro sources, in this case the age of art deco. An element of 'retro' is often found in my solo-designs. and the creation of this graphic poster is no different.
